First Post

It seems like "first post" posts are somewhat obligatory when you first make a blog. Jumping right in and starting to post about whatever is on your mind immediately without some sort of introduction seems a tad bit crass. In any case, I'm only here because a friend of mine recently made a blog on this site. She's been using it to write about her thoughts whenever she has the urge to when no one is available to listen, or for other reasons as well. The idea of it is appealing, so I suppose I'll give it a shot. I'm basically making this on a whim, so I'm not quite sure where this will go. It might be what I stated above, or close enough, anyway, but I might just end up being lighthearted on here. Or not. That stuff seems to be reserved for tumblr. Well, here we go, anyway. First post. At least it'll give me something to format my blog with, heheh.
